Discover the Beauty of Local Wildlife Through Art
This project uses public art to inspire appreciation for the wildlife found throughout Fort Bend County. Along the trail, visitors can scan QR codes to learn about each animal, explore fun facts, and discover how the sculptures were created. It’s an experience designed to educate, engage, and bring the community together outdoors.
This wildlife sculpture series was creatively directed by The Robot Agency, Inc., led by Houston-based creative director Mario Jaramillo. Inspired by the natural beauty of Fort Bend County, the project brings local wildlife to life through a blend of design, fabrication, and public art storytelling.
The goal of this project is to bring delight to families throughout the community while building greater appreciation for the wildlife that surrounds us every day.
This project was brought to life through hands-on collaboration with local fabricators and makers, including Robert Foerster of Fine Line Cutting, using CNC aluminum cutting and powder coating to achieve a clean, weather-resistant finish. Installation support was provided by Celzo Trejo, Amado Guerrero, and Xzavian Jaramillo, helping ensure each piece was placed with care and craftsmanship.
